March 2023 Fresh flower arrangement class

Warmly hosted by Grace, our in-house floral designer & founder of Paperwillows, you will have the opportunity to work with a variety of fresh and dried seasonal flowers and foliage. 

We prioritise hands-on practice and a cosy & educational environment. This exclusive workshop is also one of the few in Singapore that allows you to take home a generous variety of fresh flowers (we don’t scrimp & save on materials because you deserve the best!)

Whether you are a budding beginner with no experience, or a hobbyist looking to brush up on floral arrangement knowledge, our workshop is designed to cater to all skill levels. We provide all the necessary materials and refreshments for a relaxing & informative afternoon. At the end of the workshop, you will be equipped with skills and knowledge to create your own flower arrangements in the future.

This is the perfect place for anyone who loves the beauty and fragrance of fresh flowers. We cannot wait to journey with you to create your own aesthetic & satisfying arrangements.

Class details

• Timing: 
  • 10.00am-11.30pm
• Option to choose flower arrangement in a
• Vase; or
• Basket 
• Venue: At our home studio in Kembangan (full address will be provided) 
• Max. class size of 4 pax in our home studio 
• Weekdays are preferred (and we have provided a slight discount for those days)
• Quirky seasonal flowers with interesting shapes will be used in class

What you will learn

1. Selecting and preparing fresh flowers and foliage
2. Introduction to reflexing roses
3. Opportunities to craft with unique, seasonal flowers (we are very excited for any quirky ones we can find) 
4. Creative ways to incorporate different types of foliage and other natural materials into your design
5. Arranging flowers with varying heights to achieve the best design 
6. How different vessels (i.e. baskets and vases) affect your design 
7. Tips on aftercare for your flower arrangement 
8. Floral Photography 101 – A crash course on how to take beautiful photos of your florals with the appropriate background, lighting & props

What you get

• The fruit of your labour - the final result of your flowers to take home or gift it on!

• Short photography session with (you and) your flower basket (what's a day with flowers without photos to remember them by!)
